SANTA’S HELPER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT GIFT DROP-OFF DAY:
Gift Drop-Off day is: Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Station 2, 355 Boston Post Road. See Details below this important message.
SANTA’S HELPER HAS 100 DELIVERY SPOTS AVAILABLE TO FILL ON DROP-OFF DAY
This year, for the first time, as a Thank You to our loyal Santa’s Helper families, we offered a PRE-PAID RESERVATION OPTION. This allows them to stand in a shorter, quicker drop-off line.
It was offered to those on the 2012 Delivery List, WHO provided us with a valid EMAIL address when asked for upon sign-up in 2012. Those that responded to an EMAIL sent in AUGUST 2013, indicating that yes, they wanted to be in a database to receive ADVANCED NOTIFICATION of all things Santa’s Helper. We made the Pre-Paid offer to those that responded.
We did not make the Pre-Paid option offer to the general public for a simple reason: If we offered the option to everyone, we would have no control of our limit of 170 delivery spots. We would have received approximately 300 checks by mail, and would have to then decide who gets their checks returned to them.
We continue to try to make Santa’s Helper fun for all and appreciate your understanding, patience and cooperation. If you provide us with all the information we request when you sign-up for 2013, you will receive future information about all things Santa’s Helper. The OVFD Auxiliary and the OVFD thank you for your support of Santa’s Helper.
