Auxiliary

The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary was formed in 1995. We currently have 24 members. Meetings are held nine times per year at station 1. One of those meetings is our Annual Dinner meeting, held at the restaurant of our choice. Meetings are held the third Monday of the month starting at 7:30 PM. Afterword's, we enjoy coffee and desert.

Most of what we do is fundraising. We have 4 major funders: March is Chili Supper, June is the Pancake Breakfast, Carnival time is our cookie sale and December is Santa's helper. This year, we are having a Pancake Supper on February 24th to be held at Chips Restaurant. We occasionally bake or host an event for the Fire Department such as the Memorial Day Parade.

If you are interested in joining our Auxiliary, please feel free to come to any meeting. You will be able to see what we are all about so you decide if this is what you would like to do. We also value your input. Should you decide to join, annual dues are $5.00 and there is a $5.00 application fee. I will also be happy to email an application to you.
